Prayer
The Power Of
A person, thinks they are a most lucky one, even though beset by a myriad of physical issues causing life changes often. They survived cancer nine times over thirty years and still successfully navigate a non-curable neurological disorder.
How?
Because people of the Body pray for them and the Grace of our Creator, Son and Spirit hears those prayers. Every day this individual senses this incredible healing, enough to keep them going, often without a second thought. How does one thank lots of people for this most holy help?
This human being knows they continue as a temporal creature on this still lovely planet because people pray for them and because He, the One, wills it. Which means these people love this person. Most omnipotently, He, the One, loves this person. So people who pray follow the two most important commandments He left us. Love God and every other single person.
This is overwhelming.
The biggest ‘how’ is because our dear and awesome Master listens always to everyone. And perhaps in part, because of them/you, He continues to provide this person with what they need to be a decent person (well mostly), still able to fulfill what He wants them to do, even though they often do not know what it is. Sometimes one sees and understands His answer and sometimes one does not.
But He always answers.
The gratitude cannot be explained. It too, is so tremendous! How does one thank all these sisters and brothers? How to thank Him?
Even though I witness this, I don’t know…
… because it so much love, it brings me to my knees.
I’ve prayed relentlessly for almost as long as I can remember (goes well with various forms of PT too!). I pray for those who pray for me, yes. There are folks in that group I know need prayer. Yet many others need prayer, especially those who have not yet figured out they carry the Spirit of Him Who created them in His Image and Likeness.
It is quite possible to pray your way through any day, turning any thought into a prayer for someone, people who are in greater need. The ones suffering from wars, starvation, disease, and the greed and abuse of power by men. Even your actions, your work, almost any effort can be turned into a form of prayer or more accurately…
… a constant conversation with our good Master.
And Oh! What it is to be able to talk with Him because He knows! He knows because He became one of us, endured everything we have to experience including death (and a very bad one), and left us with Himself in the Eucharist. His Father knows all. His Spirit is everywhere!
The colossal dominance of it…
is so great even the stars in the heavens bow to it! And the only way to talk with Him and this Source of great power is to…

Prayed for all your family by name in the middle of the night… not sure why you all were on my mind at that time. Buckeyes have a hard shell and we hope your wolverines eat a boatload of them as it will lead to indigestion and hours on the toilet! Ha
Hey there! Love this writing and praying for you and your family. Go Buckeyes
